HEAD OF NORDIC KITCHEN RETAIL

Grundig Nordic is fast growing company in the Nordic market for home electronics and appliances. An exciting portfolio of brands like Grundig, Beko and Blomberg makes us increasingly attractive for consumers across the Nordic region.

We are now looking for an experienced Head of Nordic Kitchen Retail with proven track record to develop and generate new business opportunities within the Nordic kitchen retail channel.

Your main responsibility will be to drive new sales in a portfolio of target accounts with focus on new clients.

You will be expected to set the sales strategy and take the overall responsibility for the sales approach and nurturing the client relationships. You will be driving growth through hunting new opportunities as well as managing the shaping and closure of opportunities on assigned accounts.

Experience and relationships from project sales within kitchen solutions and white goods are critical to succeed in this position.

This position can be located in any of the Nordic countries and is reporting to the Director of Nordic Sales.

What you’ll do:

  • Responsible for the strategy development and implementation, leadership and management of all Kitchen commercial activities in the Nordics.
  • Being the Grundig Nordic lead person in developing Kitchen Retail in the Nordic marketplace.
  • Responsible for the management and delivery of the P&L in the Nordic Kitchen Channel.
  • Build long term relationship with the assigned partners and their organizations within top management, product management, sales, marketing and purchasing
  • Yearly contract negotiations from draft to final signature of the commercial and general terms.
  • Responsible for creating event, campaigns, trainings, sales competitions, shop displays in line with the assigned marketing budgets for your Key Accounts.

 

We think you would be a great match for the position if you possess the following experiences, traits and abilities:

  • Min 5 years’ experience in working with White Goods/MDA/Kitchen Retail and/or construction channel (supplier and/or retailer).
  • Extensive knowledge of the Nordic home appliances market and of daily operations within the Kitchen Channel.
  • Fluent in English and in one of the Scandinavian languages
  • Excellent sales and account management skills, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Proven success in developing long term relationships both with sales targets and external partners
  • Fluent in English and in one of the Scandinavian languages
